Taken from the window of a Metro Gold Line train in Los Angeles. This is just north of downtown near the Los Angeles River where the Santa Fe and Southern Pacific trains used to run. It was an SP sign and would have been visible to passengers on the Daylight up the coast and Santa Fe trains to the east, etc. The lines have been overtaken by light and heavy rail transit systems. It's in an area used as the Gold Line yards so it's not readily defaced.

Just north of Point Lobos.
