love these guys Ira, cattle egrets, esp in breeding plumage are stunning birds. I too like #1....a killer nice eye.

The backgrounds appear full of oversharpened noise and a bit distracting, but easily corrected. Made no change to bird, only bg.......can you see a smoother bg?
