Goofing around with my 4 yo daughter last night taking some pics. Just as I got ready to take this one, she came at me fairly fast. I was amazed that the 24-70 could focus this quickly. Luckily, I was able to get the eye closest to me in focus, but my aperture was opened top much at the distance to get the other eye. I still think it turned out kind of cool. Any thoughts? C&C always appreciated.

This is not to offend you, your skills or the subject you captured...but may I just don't see the point? She seems scared just by looking at the part of the image you posted...the bottom part is not sharp/OOF and so is her eye as you have mentioned...it may fit as part of a set...may work if you post more images you know?...hope this helped
