Nice action, good exposures.

You might want to get a bit lower when shooting. Sitting "Indian Style" and/or laying down is the way to go IMO.

Thanks for sharing.

Great expressions captured and great exposure. Maybe use lower f-stop to eliminate some of the background on certain pics?

I normally shoot sitting on the floor as well. The one advantage of the higher angle though is that it really cleans up your backgrounds. HS and youth wrestling have some of the worst backgrounds out there in my experience.

Nice variety of shots, good expression

Don't think #3 grabbing the singlet is going to help him from getting stuck.

Great stuff. I especially like #8--Did the intensity pay off with a pin?

Great! Our little town doesn't have a wrestling program, so I don't get to shoot it. Loved these!

ummmm he shot them at 2.8 which likely is wide open....background? most of them the bkgrnd is the mat itself...

nice job on the exposures, and expressions.

Hey, Thanks for looking and taking time out to comment.

Yeah........these are at 2.8. I have a 50mm 1.4 but that's a little too much sometimes. I was shot from my feet a lot for a couple reasons, background, backache etc. but mostly because I was having one of those nights where I couldn't get a shot for the ref. being between me and the action. Not his fault, just one of those days.

Yeah #8 made the pin

I really love the light very even and soft. I really like the ones when you are shooting down into the mat makes for a very clean background. I like #6 best but thats not to say there anything wrong with the rest :-)
