Hi Marty,

I am exactly in the same position.

While the 5d2 looks awesome, we still have to see if it has any issues and there always something to be said about professional bodies I am sure. Now to make matters more challenging for me the new 1dmk3 is going down and because I like both landscape AND sports....that may be my best bet... decisions, decisions, decisions..

With the demand out there for this camera? I wouldn't expect prices to move for at least a few months.

Right after all of us buy at close to full price

... my guess $2475 now, $2300 Jan/Feb
