p.1 #1 · Statuesque II (nude)

So. Another from the same series only a twist. After I shot the one in my previous post (like a lady), I wanted one of me so I left the camera and had 2 poses. Had my friend hit the shutter. I'm actually digging this a lot. Thoughts/crit? Thank you all for the time so far

Good pose and location. Nice blurring of the water too, and I see you managed to stay still for 1.6 seconds.

. Good background separation throughout.
The composition is my only nit - it's quite centered, and I wonder if a less centered composition would be an improvement.

Really a great portrait shot !! The waterfall setting is really nice and you are in good shape. I do notice that there is dark on the Right edge of your Right leg. I don't know if that is a missed mask but it looks a little suspicious. Well done.

It's a great compostion, in a great location.

One of the few I have seen where the model and pose actually add to and improve the overall photograph (you should get in front of the camera more often).

B&W was the ideal format for this photo.

Great job.

jim - as far as your 'nit'. it's centered...but...does it matter here

:-) one of the few times i think it works. perhaps? glad you liked it

real - i'll look at the master file but dont think i did any masking here. thanks for the compliment :-P

genes - flattering. i use myself a bunch for portraits b/c sometimes i'm the only one around when i want to shoot. i have another shot that i will post in the coming weeks that was really funny to make. as for as modeling more...who's paying...i'll model :-P

Really good. As usual with your work nice BW processing.

About the pose, it's the most "coherent" compared to your previous posted nudes. Only one comment : I preferred that one or 2 feet will be visible

like a way to "anchor" the model in the context.

that is an awesome shot. My favourite part is the water running around his ankles blurred. It actually made me think of the title (without remembering what the title actually was :P)
