I need to put the word proof across some files Im going to send to someone, at one time I had an action that did that, now I cant find it & I dont remember how I did it, I think it was part of John Hartmans quick proofs where I could put a batch of files in a hotfolder and when I hit play it put copyright info on the printed page in a somewhat transparent state. I think I could rebuild it if I have some help or if someone wants to send one already working I would appreciate that also

-start by creating a ps file with the word proof ( the size will be done according to the size you want them in the photo)
-make a selection of the word proof ( apple on keyboard + click on layer with word proof)
-do apple+C,
-have a photo on which you want the word to be apply)
-in action menu, go for New Action
- do apple + V, to paste the word proof on the image
-then flatten the image
-do save
-close the image
-stop recording the action

now you're ready to apply the action
put all your images in one folder
in PS, go to File-Automate-Batch
-In the dialog box, choose the action you've previoulsy create in PS
-In Source, select the folder that includes all the image you want the word proof to be added

And the batch will go by it self...

before going to Batch, I will recommend to make a copy of the Folder you created, just in case the action doesn,t come out the way you like. In other words, keep a back-up version of the folder.
