p.1 #1 · Jerky movement of image when scrolling at 100%

When I`m viewing my images in CS3 at 100 or 200% and scrolling across to check the sky for spotting I have started to get a situation where at times I hold down the tab key, click left mouse button ,scroll across and there is a delay and then a jump to the new pointer position. It happens with my wacom pen as well. My monitor is a fairly new (6 months) 27" Dell and the graphics card is a Radeon X800 series, quad core with plenty of ram.
I seem to have only noticed it since downloading and un-installing the CS4 trial. I`ve un-installed CS3 and re-installed it but same problem. I run a second 22" screen from the secondary slot on the card.

It doesn`t happen in LR2 or BB when viewing at 100% so I`m of the opinion that the graphic card is OK.

What do you reckon?

Dave
