A week ago I shot The Holmes Brothers' concert in Postojna, Slovenia as part of the 5th Postojna Blues Festival held every year from 2004 on. All shots taken with D3, RAW>JPEG converted in LR2, no PP in PhotoShop except framing and resizing.

Hi Andrej,

I really enjoyed seeing these very nice images.

Wonderful color and great compositions and very nice captures of expressions.

"Gotta love the blues."

Some of the nicest "concert" images I have seen here. Gives a very good sense of the music and "being in the scene."

Good use of the tools and the ambient light.

The colors around the figures seem extraordinary.

I also liked the last shots (wide) showing the keyboardist and the player among the fans.

I hope these comments help and encourage you.

Very nice series. One of the best concert shoots in a long while. You bring out the charactor and show a wide variety of lighting.
#2 & #4 (It's not too late to number these) are so nice and clear. In #6 & #7, I think we could use a bit more DOF - but they are still very good.

The last shot is great. A wonderful composition - almost like you posed them all. Nice camera angle in that one.
