Well, I have to say that I am saddened that Chuck Gardner did not post a pic of the white terrycloth towel. For those of us that have been on FM for a while, the white terrycloth towel ("Terri" for short) has become a mascot and friend.

To see that Chuck has apparently discarded Terri, like an old rag, for more commercial models is disheartening but all too common in the hotly competitive field of photography.

We will miss Terri's absorbing personality, her subtle curves, and her unblown highlights.

Sorry, I did not mean to revive a dreaded thread. I was looking at old lighting threads because I am trying to refine my technique and I happened to see this one. Since I DO use inanimate objects to practice I checked out this thread. I didn't realize it was a sore subject.

Actually, this is one of the better old threads to resurrect (IMHO). The ones involving flames of individuals, bashing of a camera brand, etc., are the worst.
