I know I can do more than one... part of me thought one large shot would be more inviting, but I may change that - - your example is wonderful. Did you use Portfolio or Photo Book as "general" layout?
So you like the softcovers best...... Hummm - - I was going to give my father a Hardcover....
The good part about having multiple images is that people can immediately see that you have a variety of images inside the book.
I am still using the old version of Booksmart - version1.9.5.xxx I found it easier to make my own template pages in Photoshop. That way I could add text and move both text and the image(s) around where I wanted them. When starting a new book in Booksmart, I would first Remove all the pages, then Insert > Photo - 1, full bleed, as I inserted each page I had created in Photoshop.
Besides being nearly $10 cheaper, we found the soft cover books just looked better. I have already had defective binding on one hard cover, which Blurb gave me a credit for.
When you upload your book and place your first order, you can order 1 soft cover and 1 hard cover for comparison, and to check that everything is okay with your layouts.
