Standing there at Lower Proxy Falls, getting quite wet mine you, I was wondering how long it would take before I started growing moss. This was a few weeks back, after a long and fairly dry summer.

Wicked cool falls. Wow. The all look like they need some more pop. Not sure if that is polarizer usage or underexposed...but i do like the comps in 1 and 2 a bunch. so neat. way to not get too mossy :-P
All 3 are just beautiful! Compositions are great, I think the 3rd is my favorite. Looks like some motion blur of the foliage to the left from the slow shutter speed (or maybe corner softness, as the trunks also look a bit soft in the upper left in #1 at least), but only a minor nit.
Ooh, lucky man. The road was closed when I was up there, and I didn't have time for a 5 mile hike through the snow
These don't look underexposed at all to me. I know how hard it is to retain those highlights, but these look pretty good to me. I like all three comps; the last is probably my favorite, if only for the nice fall colors hiding in the background.

Dave, I think your right, a bit of both, some lens softness and a slight breeze with even some mist. Thanks for the comment.
The first one is the one I really like. There are the falls, the moss, but mostly I like this image because you've included in a very natural way the environment, chaos and harmony at the same time.
