Hey Sean,

I like the look, but not the composition. Is that really a bridge at the top of the shot? It doesn't look like one from here. With it being so dark, it's hard to pick out what it is and I think that distracts one's mind from really enjoying your shot. I thought about maybe just cropping this off at the shoreline, leaving the reflection from the tree's in it, but the gap between them and the foreground leaves I think is too much. Maybe a slightly lower angle of view, so that the middle area between the leaves and the bridge is shrunk, would help.

But I for sure like the "look" you created here.

Good idea and execution - bad composition. It needs much more bridge even if you lose the leaves at the bottom. It looks like it could just as easily be a spillway for a dam instead of a bridge.

thanks for the comments, guys. i went back and cropped up to the shoreline as was suggested and i think i like it better. there is a lot of space between foreground and the reflections at the top, i would probably do it different next time.
