I don't know if "simple" is the right word here, at least I wouldn't use it. I think this is stunning! Great use of reflection. Print this one up large and put it on the wall.

Very beautifully framed. Love the light through the leaves and the reflection. Very well done.

This is very cool, almost looks like a graphic. I'm tempted to crop out almost all the leaves at the bottom. I don't think they add a whole lot. I'd crop to the bottom of the nice reflection, leaving a few of those nice floaters in the frame. Is this super-sharpened? Heavy backlighting? different processing? It's a cool look , but it really does have a graphic look to it, imo. Then again, the reflection looks normal.

thanks for the comments. i used the noise reduction filter in photoshop and a fair amount of sharpening to give it that look youre talking about. i actually used a really similar workflow to what i do for people, for better or worse. im not sure i want to crop the bottom but i wasnt thinking the leaves at the bottom could use a little more saturation or something, i think ill give that a try

Really nice image. The reflection is quite different but the stillness of the water really makes it stand out. Thanks for sharing.

The framing is simple, the content is not, but in a good way. I really like the way it turned out!

Hey Sean,

Super! This shot rocks!

Now I do agree with Floris suggestion. Crop about half of the fallen leaf area on the bottom off, it will really strengthen the image.

Cool eye!

I like the crop idea, but this is a captivating image, nonetheless. Love the backlight on the upper branches over the very calm water.

Interesting orientation makes it quite engaging. Nice balance. I might crop just a tad off the bottom, playing on the symmetry.
