Love those local shots, Bart. I agree with Tim in that the colours are striking. I particularly love the flow of the stream on the 1st image and wonderful collection of leaves in the foreground. The images just seem to get better as I
scrolled through this series.
Oh I miss the dacks.. beautiful images Last one might be my fav, really captures the place. I think darkening and adding some contrast to the top of the image would make it even better.
Outstanding set, Bart! I love the careful compositions and the gentle processing. As always, your processing creates vibrant yet entirely natural colours.
The last is probably my favourite but only by a small margin, they are all so good.

Quintessential autumn , Bart ! Each elegant gold and russety vignette bears your hallmarks of careful composition and skilful processing. I particularly like the dynamic element contained in these backwater images ; charming work all round my friend !
Thanks so much to each of you. It's been so busy lately that I've had time to browse, but little time to post or comment. But it's good to be back. Now, to get to those Southwest images after a great trip with Dave and Deb.
Floris, thanks for the tip on the last, I'll be doing that adjustment for the print.
Dan: The pathway shot shows Maple, Beech and Birch leaves. All are plentiful in that area.
Jake: One day in the AMR (good color in the valley); one day Avalanche, Colden, Lake Arnold, Indian Falls and Phelps Brook -- past peak, and full of people; and one day up the JackRabbit Trail via Nichols Brook. I saw a few, but not many photographers. Let me know some time when you're headed up there, maybe we can shoot and share locations.
