Yeah, your on a roll, nello, but ya got to get some swallers if you want to claim total competentcy Thanks for the Zoom tribute, much appreciated buddy
Love that shot of the three mallard coots in flight the best in this series. Got the light and focus perfect on that one!
Hey Neller.. Did you shoot any of these from the "LIMO" Great job buddy... But I like the MILF's the best.. I mean the MIF the best So you graduated to the next level... Dude just bight the bullet and get the new 50D, Holy Smokes did you see the Hi ISO on that thing I'm impressed... I might pick one up just for that reason along.... Anyone looking for a 30D? <------ Hint Hint
Swallows? not there yet geez..tough crowd...give some time i'm getting there though
About the 1st shot w the XT...although it was slow focusing, the weaker AA filter and bigger pixels gave sharper results per pixel 40D is tougher on the lenses IMO
I would expect people would choose #1..is crisper
Having said that no way I could get those mallards w a XT darn' fast little buggers mercapto wrote:
Nice IFs indeed
Next request : Swallows!
Great series, good to hear the 40D is focussing the way you want it
#1 still beats the rest though
Thx Brenton! in #1 there was another seagull that just flew out of the frame to the right Brenton Biggs wrote:
Nello these are nice!!! I really enjoy the first photo!!! Nice Action
Cool nick dude if you refer to the underwings being dark..YES I pulled the shadows a bit but not too much 'cause it brings out horible noise Ninjamobile wrote:
Nice set, Nello! One thing: #2 seems a bit dark to me...
Yeah last shot is the ultimate test for the AF..those dam' dragons always fly in weird patterns and they're so small it took me about 20 shots (in 3-4 frames bursts) to get that 1 in focus! danjacquitaylo wrote:
Nice shots Nello. What happened to the last pic? That does look like one of the birds .
Dan
Bats? bring them on..i'm ready I saw some in Seattle this summer but they always come out late when the light is pretty much gone
Thx for the comment 90 5.0 wrote:

Nello, I as so tired of looking at ducks coming at me in-flight. It is about time someone stepped up to the plate and mastered the 'going-away' shots I really like #6, the formation, the BG the full view and beautiful wings of these three, that is a nice shot my friend!
Who did that crow beat up to rob a whole loaf of bread from Hey, cool DIF on the getaway, nice sharpshooting.............take care!
Karl

Sorry about the dragon butt..that was the only 1 in-focus and I didn't wanna lose more time over it! was out lookin' for Luigi and that dam' dragon cost me precious minutes it was more like let's see if I can pull it off

Nello, I'm running out the door to the airport but I gotta reply to YOU.
Nice in flights. Only you would get the butt of a dragon and post it!!
Great job on the mallards.
Ciao.

Yes glad you see a trend here buddy There is a special meaning to all the butt shots...DAM' BIRDS ALWAYS RUN AWAY FROM ME
and that applies for insects too anthony whitmo wrote:
Nice job on these buddy.
I see a trend here. It doesn't matter if it's ducks on the ground or flight > You always go for the butt shot ........
Is there some special hidden meaning we need to be aware of
Good job Mr Nelloooo
