Thank you Craig. These fronds always catch my eye when they are backlit. But, I never get the capture I expect or hope for. At least this one had a 'hook'. The fraying leaves.

By the way, the IR conversion of my 20D is underway. I know I can count on some good suggestions from you.

I like the bright section in the center, it is like a heart. Odd the way palms fray like that.

Thank you for the comment sjkk. Yes, that heart of the frond is usually my POI. I just never pull it off to my liking. I'll keep trying. They are everywhere down here.
