Brings back memories. I went to college there many years ago.
My wife visits Grove City a couple of times a year ... shopping! We are about 3 hours from Erie, PA... in Canada. This time I am coming along for the ride to pick up a camera. :-)
But one thing that I just had a thought about is warranty... I will start a separate thread on that topic.
Van Tuil is definitely the place to go in Erie. They also have a store in Meadville between Erie and Grove City. You can find more information on their website at www.vantuil.com. I live in the area and feel lucky to still have a camera shop like this around. Stock is really good and staff are very helpful.
There is another shop closer to Grove City in Volant called Pat's Camera Cottage which is hidden and hard to find. I would call ahead to ask about stock and get directions before going there. If I recall correctly he is an authorized Sigma dealer, but I'm not sure about Nikon.
Feel free to email/PM me if I can be of further assistance.

Hey Jeff - thanks for the tips. I will certainly look in to Pat's Camera Cottage as well. I checked Nikon's website and they do not have that store listed in their authorized dealer list for that area. Van Tuil however is listed.
Now assuming that Pat's and Van Tuil are both authorized dealers - would they both sell at the same price (MSRP area) since they are official Nikon dealers?
I would suggest you call Van Tuil with your questions. Or, if you plan on visiting the store regardless, you could just ask them in person. As an authorized Nikon dealer, I'm sure they will have the answers to your concerns about pricing and warranty coverage.
