I use original photo and color it then I find other shots I have of nature and combine one two or three and then recolor to get the effect-
a complicated thing sometimes and then sometimes not-

I suppose, I should have asked how you combine the photos in Picasa -- I found it. Create -> Picture Collage -> Superimpose.
