I have seen a lot of comments about your work as "this is your best shot ever" and so on. While I enjoy your work, I like this shot very much. There is a lot of subtle emotion here. The lighting created an ironic scene with the woman shrouded in mystery in what appears to be the middle of the day. The image allows the viewer to create many stories. Well done.

I like this one a lot Francois, but then I tend to prefer all of your "busier" looking photos to the more muted looking ones you usually shoot.

I just can't get my mind around that ladder and basket,, or whatever it is. I'm sure you included it on purpose, you always do, but I can't figure why. Could you drop a note about it?

I like this image because it has an environment, perhaps a Paris apartment on a gray afternoon in the Le Marais district? Reminiscent of the of the photos of the late great French photographer of naked women, Jeanloup Sieff.
