My steps.
Changed some settings in curves, added a little contrast
I ended up using a lot of plugins on this image.
OnOne Color tune (I love this plugin)
NIK Viveza- Used control points to darken the right side foliage so it better matches what is on the left.
Selected the whole upper right corner using the lasso tool and applied a little gausian blur to increase the bokeh. Trees in background were a little too sharp and distracting.
Noiseware proffesional, did a full noise reduction.
Unsharp mask settings 100, 2.6
Digital Film Tools 55mm used the vignette filter and moved it to my liking.
Saved as high quality JPEG
Opened in portrait professional and after setting all of my points on the face used the standard male preset (does not change the shape of the face) Added a little hue to the lips and just alittle bit of eye whitning.
Hope you like. I think it turned out great. I will work on another tonight! It is always fun trying to improve (matter of opinion) someone elses images!
