I need a site that will NOT allow any type of nudity on it for my HS sports pics. Some mom did a search of her daughter's name on Pbase yesterday and some nudes popped up. I shoot for an all girls catholic hs and all the pics will need to come down, very soon. Does flickr permit nudes? Any site that can hold over 3 gb's worth of photo's that isn't that expensive? I need help big time please!

John for about $100 you can have your own site. Software is free from several locations so the domain name and hosting are all you need. Nothing great but here's mine.

Thanks Mickey and I did purchase a name last year along with space but didn't have the patience to build it. I still own it and the space and am giving it serious consideration.

Use any of the hosts (e.g. SmugMug) and your domain name. Most do allow nudes, but they won't be associated with your website name.

Like Nathan is saying, some of the basic sales-oriented hosting services do this...Exposure Manager (EM) allows for your own domain. If you look at my site, you don't see the EM logo anywhere on the site nor in the URL. It is a template based website that allows customizing. You can use thier templates or start with thiers and customize it, which is what I did. That was good for me as I'm a computer dummy.

I would go with your own domain name and webspace. Using a gallery like Coppermine is simple and easy to install, easy to customise as well.

Thanks guys and I'll look up Shane's idea. I have had my domain name for almost a year but gave up trying to build a site. I like the name and it's very professional as well, FGIAWPhoto.com

I need to be able to password protect also and I'll also check out coppermine

I'm with you John...hate maintaining my own web presence, but I've been using JAlbum forever and it's pretty easy.

JAlbum even has a PBase "skin"....

As was mentioned, Coppermine and Gallery from sourceforge.net are very robust, but need a bit more attention than JAlbum.

Can't lose either way....

Sorry for the late reply....no problem!

My website is JAlbum based.....very unprofessional at the moment as I have mixed 2 JAlbum skins, but you can view it to get my point....

Or, if you've done your research on it, there are a ton of very well designed websites available for review at http://www.jalbum.net
