Well, the B/S board has changed since I last sold anything here. I don't buy a lot of used gear, but I have sold a lot here in the last 4 years that I was on the boards. The last item sold was my 1Ds Mark II about one year ago, right before the board was updated. Anyway, the point is that I have had nothing but excellent feedback, but it appears that I have to reinitiate my feedback trail. You can find the old posts on me as a seller here if you dig around, and you can also find me under jhapeman on ebay (if you are into astronomy I have a long history as a seller on Astromart as well).
I simply do not use my 1D Mark III enough to justify keeping it. It is gathering dust and needs a new home. My job has changed and I now travel a lot, so I need lighter gear. I don't have the actual shutter count on the camera, but it is very low--definitely less than 1,000. I have only actually used it a few times, to be honest. It does work superbly and has never exhibited any noticeable AF problems. Regardless, I had it sent in and had the submirror fix applied back on January 31, 2008. It has the extended warranty remaining through January 31, 2009. It is in cosmetically near-perfect condition, with just two small marks: a slight scuff on the portrait grip shutter button, and a tiny nick right near it on the body. You wouldn't see them if I didn't point them out. I have all of the original packaging and paperwork. I also have a brand-new (used it once) Canon WFT-E2A and the RRS L-bracket.
Canon EOS 1D Mark III, $3500
Spare Canon Battery, $75 SOLD
RRS L-bracket, $125 SOLD
Canon WFT-E2A, $650 SOLD
Take it all together for $4250 and no PayPal or ground shipping charges. Otherwise, you pay shipping and PayPal. If you want to see it in person, I am in the west end of The Valley in LA and work in Santa Monica. You can come see at either location if you would like.
I have a gallery of pics of the camera here: http://flickr.com/photos/jhapeman/sets/72157607097216034/
