Scott that darn Yahoo translator made it somewhat perceptive although the sentence got mangled still. It has a basic problem with masculine/feminine. Portuguese is a very specific language.
It should read instead:

I am assuming you are referring to the yellow streak. ( a coisa amarela na janela)
