Hello, everyone. First time poster here. I've been a lurker for a while and have learned a lot with all of your suggestions in these forums.
Anyhow, I figured it was about time for me to post a few shots for your expert c & c. With me being an amateur, I know my shots don't compare to some of the spectacular ones I've seen here, but my hope one day is to be taking shots that are that good.
I took these the other day. They are of my little angel. The first two are the same shot with a different crop, I liked both of them so I was curious to see which one you liked and/or if you had any other opinions on them.
good use of available, natural light! when i see shots like this, i automatically think black and white. the beautiful expression will really pop with a nice BW conversion!
It seems as if the photography is admirable in the second one but the child is admirable (more so) in the first one. I can't imagine why that is, but that's the way it hit me.
Thank you for the critique, SJMD, canerino, and pilles.
Canerino, I will definitely try out some B&W conversions. I've seen your site/pics and am a big fan of your work! I'm in the Philadelphia area myself, so seeing shots of Geno's Steaks and Citizens Bank Park makes me feel right at home. Do you have any pointers on the conversions? Yours are done so well!
