Spiders are fascinating. I watched this one build one 12 inch diameter web in under ten minutes. Recent spider shot The process is very repetitive.

James - thanks for the look and comment. Your recent shot is nicely done. I was trying to bring some attention to the web as well as the spider. Web building is a very repetitive process and I thought of assignment immediately. Thanks Steve

I like the repetition motif but the background unevenness is disturbing my eye.

Yakim - thanks for the comments. The background is a garden fence with the light coming through, not much I could do with it. I could only approach the web from one side. Steve
