May be a placeholder if I can not get to do something else! C&C welcome.

Simple and beautiful.

I am only bothered by the fact that the lines are not 100% parallel to the frame. I'm sure it can be fixed in PS.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

Lovely, simple shot Andrew-Bede, my friend! The color is nice, too. I agree with Yakim about the parallel lines. It's a very easy fix in PS.

Interesting but is the alignment out in two planes? Perhaps it is my autistic leanings but I would have liked to see the shot dead centred and perfectly square on - but very good, evenly focused and lit.

Thank you all for your helpful comments and especially to Endre for his pm on how to straighten the image. I have had a go but can’t work out how to delete the original and repost the new one into the W/A bpard, or is it as simple as just uploading it in this post, (which does not seem likely)? Well anyway, here it is.

Looking at it now it seems out of focus and still not straight! How frustrating. Where am I going wrong?

You're right about that but sorry I can't help. Stick with the original unless some clever help comes you way. Good luck.

Hmmm.... That's weird. There is no reason the photo should go out of focus just because you straightened it. But, sure enough - the second photo is out of focus. As to editing your photo, don't you have an "Edit" button at the bottom right under the original posting? That's how you change photos, by clicking on that button. Second from the left - "Quote" "Edit" "Report" "Reply" Then in the window that pops up, click the button third down from the top - with a strange name: "1/3 Change". Then click the "Choose File" just like when you upload the original. That should do it.

I'm glad you weren't able to replace your original with the new one as i far prefer sharpness to the shot being absolutely straight.
