p.1 #1 · HTML needed for my smugmug website.

I hope this is in the correct forum...just doesn't see to fit anywhere else. I have a smugmug pro account and sell pictures usually of sporting events from it, but do not have an introduction page...it goes straight to the galleries. Well, I can use HTML and set it up, but I have no experience in HTML. My students (I teach HS) tell me that very few write HTML. They say you can get a program or email the website owner and nicely ask them for the code or where you could copy the code from. Any help would be appreciated. If this is miscategorized I apologize to the forum in advance. Thanks
Scott

Smugmug forum contains many code samples where you can simply cut/paste the portions you want for a custom look.

I'm not sure what your students site building experience is, but after the first site or two everybody writes HTML. If you have no experience, than copying, learning and modifying are your best bet. You will be surprised how quickly you are re-writing everything to make it exactly what you want.

Check out the FAQ page on SmugMug. It helps a lot. You don't really need much HTML knowledge to put together a home page. In fact, you can configure a gallery to be your home page.
