p.1 #1 · Making Your Image Your Wallpaper

I am trying to make my images my desktop wallpaper. I use the present WinXP images selcted for "Center".
I cannot seem to get my images sized correctly so they just occupy the same center area as the ones used by WinXP.
Can anyone help?
My LCD is a 24" if that matters.
I am using PSElements 5.0. The "Save As Wallpaper" makes the image too large for the center.
Thanks!

Resize and crop the image to exact pixel dimensions of your desktop, for example the number of pixels your monitor is set to display.

Thanks for your reply EBH. I resized the image to the 1920x1200 pixels of the 24" monitor and it was way too big for the center position of the desktop.
Thanks!

Your problem is that you are using "center". As long as you have the image resized correctly you should use "stretch". It won't get stretched because it is the correct size. In essence - "stretch" should work.

And ain't that just typical of Windows -use stretch when you don't want it stretched!

Thanks Ron! Will try it when I get home.

Paul, that is why Gates is a multi billionaire!!!! The problems are built in so you pay for support! Just like anti-viruses. If they could eliminate them then all the antivirus companies would be out of business!
Thanks Paul!
