I got the help from Adobe tech support. Their homepage had the Windows and Mac CR 4.5 downloads reversed fo a few days. The successful download was off the homepage, under the "Updates" drop down. Thank you, Jim

You might want to check your Bridge/Preferences/File Type to make sure DNG is checked.

I was getting a wrong format message, when trying to view DNGs in CS2. I upgraded to CS3. Do I need an Adobe plugin , or is the ACR in Cs3? Thakn you
