Like the b&w conversion, and the composition is good. The bright background beyond the trees is a bit distracting. You might consider burning this a bit. Really like the relationship between the texture of the simple grass and the complexity of the farm equipment.
The piece that is growing out of the right side was distracting for me since it meshes with the fence. I also agree about the background, perhaps burning it and cropping some off the right side?
For me there is too much happening and no clear message. The light area under the trees to right is distracting.
I think that this subject has lots of appeal but you need to focus more on one piece or have less depth (lower fstop) to create a main subject with other things around it to complement it.
