Meji Shrine is nice to see japanese weddings, but it is hard to get a really good picture, some smaller temples are more photogenic, I have a few of Nikko waiting though
Osaka is not a real castle, it is concrete, I do no bother shoot it, but I have a smaller, more authentic (rebuilt with traditional techniques) one in stock
for the portrait, I could not really control the background, I used the 85 f1.2 to help as much as possible
ichiban > yes, FM is my favorite with POTN, great community with fantastic level and great info, dpreview is fantastic for reviews (but the community is very gear oriented)
