Strad Online Image Upload: On # 302 Energy Connection I've often thought of challenging myself to find a way to make one of the ugliest things on the planet - high energy electricity towers - look pretty. But I'm wondering if you tried it with the tower in black instead of white (and perhaps a brighter background). Might make more of a "statement". But then again, it may not work. The choice of the negative (in this case white) presentation of the power lines works well with your idea of them being ugly, but that's offset by the sunset-like background of tranquility. And finally to confuse you I also like the second equally against the first. Makes the the wires and the grid look harsh and stand out against the pastel sky. Both for me are very well done. PS isn't hard to learn but it is intimidating if you don't know what things do and how to makd things hapen. After one gets a good understanding of the basics, it is fairly easy to extrapolate how to do almost anything. If you ever get PS and want some help, plese don't hesitate to ask.
