Oh, no doubt. In the case of my photo, it was a very hot day with heat waves rising from the asphalt street and patch of "viney" woods in the background to combine for some much un-expected bokeh. But I thought it (and yours) made for an interesting shot.
This is one that I shot at 1/4 of a second ISO 100, 5.6f with a canon 40d
the lens is a Tamron 28-75 shot at 75mm Equal to 120 in FF

Thanks. I'm enjoying the Canon. The construction is a joke, and its character could best be described as sterile. Sometimes sterile works, though. It doesn't mean character-free.
