Nikkor 50/1.8 AIS "longnose" @ f/1.8 on D700. Really nice bokeh compared to the modern plastic cousin.

Very nice, Makten. Perfect bokeh for that kind of shot.

Cool - A question - Why did you choose to make it for the Sigma? Is that lens not possible to fit on an FF EOS? Even with your heavily altered 5d mirror?

Actually i use it on both 5D and sigma sd14. Ah, may be you do not know - i have converted my sigma sd14 to Canon EOS mount, so i can use EF lenses on sigma body.

No - I did know that - I just forgot Nice! But would that lens fit on a 5d with an unshaven mirror? Probably not....

Sexy! I'm so jealous....I heard converted the SD14 to an EOS mount is extremely difficult.

Andre, i will check this with the non modded camera.

wiregen - how do you find your fdn 50 1.2L - i love mine in most shooting conditions, execept when there are the spotlights from behind when the "onion" like patern comes up (aspherical glass)
concerning sigma convertion - i have found the way how to convert it without the mirror box dissasembly.

And be careful - that's the kind of shot that can get you arrested these days.

Not to hijack, but under what charge? They are in a public place...there is no expectation of privacy, and they are not identifiable, so you don't need a model release (not that you need one anyway unless you make money from the shot).

I'll have to double check with the authorities, but charges could range from "perv with a super tele at the beach" to "huge weirdo creep".

Thanks Steven...
