I like it as an abstract but don't see anything that would relate to a porpoise or death. It actually looks more like a highly processed landscape to me.
i always enjoy reading your feedback in the forums, but have rarely seen your work. this is spectacular! the colors are vibrant, the textures are almost tangible, and the entire concept is intriguing.
Thank you so much, Kate! When I post, it's more likely to be in people, since that's what I get paid for. But this is a slow time for my studio right now (seniors starting up soon), so I have been posting less, and doing some abstract and landscape stuff.

I do plan to print this large. I am awaiting proof-sized prints on Crane Museo Silver Rag as well as Somerset Velvet.
But yeah, it's part of a series of abstracts I'm doing. 
I can see the porpoise and I love the colors.
