we are seeing so many images posted here in Adobe RGB colorspace.....not good for web browsers. The colors appear somewhat flat and muddy.

I post this in hopes it will help some understand the colorspace....you can convert in photoshop via edit/convert to profile. Also I believe save for web automatically converts, but it also strips exif info
Dave is THE Master for colors and colorspaces. And I just want to emphasize what he just said. Use the "Convert to profile" command from the Edit menu. Never use the "Assign profile" command. That is bad! It will change the color tones of your image. Yuk!
