This 40D comes with an Opteka thrid party grip. Best grip I've ever owned. No errors, or issues and it even has a built in clock! This camera has become my sports body and it does a great job with elementary age soccer, great images, great jpegs. Clean, and in perfect order, it includes all boxes, paper work as previously stated along with it's warranty through January next year.
There are also 4 batteries included so you're never outa power.
Also included is the Canon CA-PS400 DUAL Compact Charger. Set it and forget it! The original compact charger is included as well. You can charge up to three batteries on 2 wall plugs. =o) Power baby power!

While I understand things are close in price, there's more at stake here than just a camera and grip. Extra batteries, a special dual charger that does not come with any 40D kit (I kept it from my 5D kit!), and the rest assurance that this camera works beautifully with no issues.
