Hello all!

Lurking most of the time and admiring the great work, it is time to go for one of my rare posts in this forum

. The shots were taken at a small natural reserve in Luxembourg. I hope the names are correct (I looked them up in wikipedia

),
Shots with 40D and 20D with 500F4 and 1.4 TC. The closeups have been done with 100-400L and 500D lens. Comments and critiques are welcome.

I agree with Harsha > Great series !! Really like the Baby Mallard reflection.

Great shots. I like the coots, never have seen the young before. Did the grebe eat his vegetables with his fish?

The grebe took the vegetables away and then it gave the fish to the chick (#2)

Very nice images, Claude. Beautiful colors and lighting. Details are also very good. 1, 5, and 8 are my favorites.

Excellent Series. That first shot is amazing. Its a wonder that large of a fish doesn't rip open the Grebes insides. Thats a WOW! shot. Great job.

Nice series, I really like when the photos show behaviors of the animals. So as you may have guessed #1 is my favorite
