Hi Chris- and welcome! I like the way the background weaves down into the burner, and accents the flame. That works really well. I'd say the handle takes up a bit too much space on the right, I might've turned it more toward the back, but of course just a thought.
Great entry, and I'd love a cup if it were a bit earlier in the day here.
thanks for the comments, all. I agree that the handle is a problem, though turning the pot around means that the pressure release valve moves toward the front and is also a bit more distracting. I took the shots as steam was coming out, but it was too wispy to show up in the final images. Oh well...
The background was kind of distracting, too, so I put a wok behind the pot to give the background that you see.
