Most of these were taken yesterday, Ron and I left around 7am in the morning and returned home around 8pm at night a good day of photography to say the least.
For some reason #13 stands out, though it maybe shouldn't, the colours are quite well brown, but I like the space, composition and 'pose' of the bird. The non distracting background is excellent, and overall it's quite different to most other bird shots I've seen.
Very nice Chad, it does indeed look like you had a great day. What a variety of excellent captures. I like the deer taking the time to smell the blossoms. The first is charming, the goslings are wonderful, love the symmetry. Wood duck in flight, I haven't even seen one of these fly before! What is 8? Very nice look back at you!
Great series. I can never come that close to the Swan with a nest and eggs. They will attack me when I come closer than 25-30 meters. And what kind of Swan is it that have a black beak?
Nice day out Chad. Of course the chicks are cute Wood duck is gorgeous, nice flight shot on that one. Healthy looking deer enjoying a few blossums fun to walk with them when they are relaxed. Favs are #9,11,12 and I think #13 is a great composition, well done on your part............good eye man Nice series, liked 'em.
I couldn't help myself Chad.
Lovely series my friend !! I was going to give you a hard time that you didn't have any flowers in your post and it is mothers day............
But I will accept #4 as Flora
Another thought > You and Ron are brothers.......... I notice you two always shoot together and you work together........... Are you guys Siamese twins ?? Nah guess not even though you two work at the same place, I guess you do work different shifts........ Wells so much for that idea > Ruled that one out
Maybe you two aren't really brothers............................. Now there's a thought !!! Based on our previous discussion of this matter maybe there are other options
J ~ Glad you like that one too, Ive been trying for some different perspectives, I have a lot of close ups of the sparrows.
Rob ~ Thanks for the view and comment.
Gene ~ Thank you! pretty sure it was my first Kingbird that close, I took several shots too
Tim ~ the deer was eating the blossoms as well, I don't think Terry would approve of this
Ed ~ Thanks Ed, good luck on your Renos.
Jude ~ Thanks Buddy
Lars ~ The swan was nesting very close to a fence, that helps alot, if you look at the photo you can see the fence bokeh. The black beak swan is a trumpeter swan, they seem to be the friendliest ones of all. We have Mute (lump on top of beak #1 photo), Black (all black swan with white wing tips on the underside), Trumpeter (all black beak #2 photo), Tundra (very little orange on their beak) and Whooper (about half black and half orange beak) swans.
Karl ~ Thanks for all the very nice compliments, they mean so much
Dave ~ Thanks for the visit, glad you like the king
Anthony ~ I know.... I'm just getting started but you don't have to rub it in Thanks for the kind words, it's always a pleasure to read what you have to say Be careful over there in California, Ive heard some weird stuff goes on over by you I understand why your asking, but, In Michigan however, no funny stuff here
Ted ~ Thanks for the kind comment
Lil ~ Happy Mom day Thanks for the picks.
Doug ~ Glad you liked them
KHOR ~ Thanks for looking, nice to read your comment.
