General, Dammit man! I'm a gear head too, and have fought the urge to fork out the Benjamin's for a super tele! I just didn't think the cost was justifiable!
Your images have changed my mind and it looks like the 300mm is well worth the cost!

great shots...PIR is always an interesting track to shoot at. Unfortunately, it claimed me as a race casuality in 05' so now, I have a major beef with that track. Hopefully I'll have a chance later this year to drag a knee or two around it.

Real nice work. . .
I went to the Friday practice MOTO GP in Indy this year. I was in awe of how fast the riders were - in the RAIN! ! ! Seeing it in person is nothing like TV. If MOTO GP is in Indy next year I'm going to the race.

Hey, I think your last pic is of the same #44 that I captured sliding across the tarmac in the "Attitudes" section at Miller in October. I'd know that ponytail anywhere! Nice work, BTW.

Great stuff here, I love motorbike racing pictures and you've done a great job with the capture. I'm not sure if you said it or not, but where were these pictures taken, I notice the Canada t-shirt and got excited thinking they might be close to home but I see you're US based by your tag.

Very nice work. I have shot motorcycle racing so I appreciate the effort you have put into developing your style of capturing the right amount of blur to convey speed. And I understand about the lack of variety.
Number one would have been better if the riders were coming toward the camera instead of away from it.
