It was to late in the day to get to them but I will be leaving before daylight for a full day of trying to ambush them. As you can see it looks like a very young colt is with them. I was thinking it would be fun to share a wild horse hunt with my fellow forum members so here is the plan.
This really young colt is why I am so excited about this hunt I really would like to get a keeper of him. Not a very good photo but the wind on the top of this ridge was really heavy I am guessing about 40 to 50 mph.

A very long and physically difficult day. I didn't even take the time to download the memory cards when I got back last night. I found 3 different herds and 4 young colts and a couple more bachelors. I am hoping I got a couple of keepers and if I did I will post a few for you all to share.

I like your plan, Roger, have you been watching John Madden?
I am surprised there is only one newbie. The Winter may have had a bit to do with it.
Tom
