Oh man. This brings back memories. The beds in my grandmother's house were like this, 4 bedrooms worth. Now, put 2 to 3 grandkids in each one, add heavy feather pillowfight pillows...

good times.

Great shot, and totally retro!

The lighting is superb here. You could probably do without the light fitting at top though.

Thanks Tamara. Glad it brings some happy memories.

I was totally attracted by this scene, the red frame, the orange yellow pillow cases and that totally retro five and dime photo on the wall.

Crossed my mind also about that light fixture.

The light is all natural from a window. (You can see it reflected in the photo on the wall.)

Love the window light. The wall texture is great too. Is that lead paint peeling? That'd be retro too!

Wonderful moody capture, zcaley. Well done.

Thanks kegger

It's not 'in desigin' kosher, but I love the texture of peeling paint. Maybe it will become the latest fad.

Great shot - Love the colors and the feel of the photo.
The natural light is great too - although I wish the window was not reflected in the hanging picture... a bit distracting IMO.
Really nice entry!

Brings back some memories for me... I love the peeling paint and the ambiance created by it.

Caley, you have captured a mood that many will identify with. I like the image, but agree with Bill's comment. It makes me think of a cottage...all donated items - none of them matching.
