Love the action in those first 2 shots - well done indeed, Doug, and quick thinking on your part!!!!! And that said, I really really really wish someone had gotten a shot of you in action........
Susan
Wow, it sure looks like the view for your morning coffee beats mine. I get to see rush-hour traffic heading by. The closest I'll come to seeing wildlife at breakfast is when my cat decides to yawn, turn around, and go back to sleep.

My! Your Coyote is huge compared to our emancipated looking ones here in desert Nevada. I love # 2 for it's action and his look at you. And #8, I love the red shrub behind the deer, for me it brings the picture to life.
Thank you kindly Sue. The coyote is extrememly large given the harsh winter we had.

Wow, Doug, what a way to start your days. This morning while I was drinking my coffe I saw an Impala.....yeah....a Chevy Impala.
These are great captures. I like how you got the agility of the coyote, and the beauty of the deers. The reflections really make the shots. Well done.
Socrate
Thank you for the kind words Socrate. At least with the Impala, you don't have to go chasing after it in your underwear!
This is be a great post as long as I can block the scary visual you planted out of my brain. Trust me folks the visual is worse if you've seen Doug in person Sorry - couldn't resist. Don't be surprised if Bravo drops in on this one - opps he beat me to the punch and posted when I was typing. He took it easy on you
Seriously nice work. The colors and reflections of the deer, the detail in the RTH and the Coyote shots - all of it really works!
Doug -
I guess it's a visual that I would have a hard time erasing the image from my brain. It's a good thing that I don't know what you look like.
The coyote, now that's a fine image.

You should bottle that coffee as a scent lure Not sure about the sexual connotations of your bush hawk and 500mm something or other though Coyote #2 and #4 are stunning, man he gave you the look! Nice RTH in-flight, gosh those deer look so pretty reflecing in the water. What a great way to start the morning, my tip............make coffee the night before, just heat it up in the morning when you get done warming up your bush hawk
Karl
Thanks much Karl. When the Coyote took off, he wan't looking at me so I yelled and his head turned and the light hit those eyes. As far as using coffee as a lure and the sexual connotations of the 500 and BUSHhawk...well, I'd better leave that one alone!

Ken,
The implantation of non-erasable images in peoples brains was not my intentions. I was only hoping to show the dedication and determination it takes to get "the" shot! So, I guess your stuck with the visual, just be thankful it isn't Bravo!

On a lighter note: Pretty kewl action series my friend !! The deer reflections are purdy
Anthony
Thanks Anthony. I heard those Mark III's are going cheap these days, if I were you I'd hang on to it for a while...at least until they get them fixed!
Very Nice set . Although the visual of a guy in boxers and a camera running out of a house is disturbing . With all that in your backyard you must not have any close neighbors anyway. Well done!

Thank you much Susan, as for as someone getting a shot of me in action.....eh...are you sure about that
Great shots, Doug. Some would walk a mile for a camel. You drank cold coffee for the animals. What noble sacrifices we go through to look through a piece of glass.
