Mostly used it on a 1V for black and white for a school project and I'll post those images when I get it all finished (they're better, I promise), but I was able to get a few digitals off with the 40D. Of course there was no sun to speak of until late in the day (shooting sunset at 400 is quite interesting). Also there are a few images from my 70-200 from the week before (the chickadees).
Goldfinch #1 is just about as bright yellow as he can get, nice capture.. My goldfinches are just about there, I hope to get some photos of them tonight.
The goldfinches have been top dogs at the feeders lately...I haven't been seeing the titmice or cardinals lately. They really are something though.
Thanks to Tim and Lil for their help with my lens selection I almost got the teleconverter at the last minute but then it was just a little more than I wanted to spend. I can think of a few times where it would've helped but I think I got all the shots I needed without it.
