Tony great shots, did not know this was a common occurence with the hummers, Ed Robertson had posted today some cattail hummer habit shots. Very nice lighting and well controlled BG's...........I am looking forward to a continuation of the whole story.

Thanks, Karl. It is always interesting to see what different birds use for nesting materials. The hummers are also collecting spider webbing, which they use to hold their nests together. They fly around the bottom of our house collecting it and you can often see it stuck on their bills.
