It's Spring and that means that it's nesting time for the Roseate Spoonbills. Here are some shots of that beautiful bird taken on Tampa Bay last month. All of the images were made with a Canon 1D Mark IIN, except the last one which was made with a Canon EOS 20D.
I think the exposure is great in these. I 've had a difficult time with spoonbills, but don't see them as often as I'd like to so don't get much practice. Last time I saw some was at Fred Howard Park in Tarpon Springs (Tampa Bay area) where I live, but that was last September or so.
