Nicely done! I suppose you blurred parts of #9 on purpose, to maintain the bird's dignity?

Good job Herb. You did quite well under less than an ideal situation. What a grim looking day. That III does high iso amazingly well.

The lens is a 300 f2.8L IS and 1.4x II extender from 11 feet away.

Actually the tailparts are naturally out of focus since they're about 6 inches closer than the head at only 11 feet away.
