p.1 #1 · CS3 RAW CONVERTER QUESTION

Hi,

I just started to using CS3 and I was wondering if the shadows and highlight warning in the raw converter is no longer available?? I don't see it anywhere. If its still an option in CS3 converter, can you please tell me how to turn it on??

Thanks,
Michele

In the top of the histogram box there are two triangles. You can click on them to turn on the appropriate warning.

If you don't want to turn the warning on permanently, hold down the option/alt key while dragging on the exposure slider or the black slider, and the warning will appear until you release the key.

I like to keep the highlights warning on while I adjust the recovery slider. That lets me weigh the recapture of highlights versus the lost tonality in the shot...
